Sea Stars, Harbor Seals, and Man Challenges

Aliso Niguel High School
This morning Aliso Niguel High School was having a surf competition, so the line up was very crowded. There must have been a higher salt content or something in the water because the water seemed to burn my eyes when I went under the water. The animal life was a little bit below the usual because all I saw were sea birds, I did not see the usual crabs and fish.

Conditions for 9/25/2011
Salt Creek was partly cloudy today with the air temperature being about 67 degrees Fahrenheit (14 degrees Celsius). The water temperature today was about 65 degrees Fahrenheit. High tide was at 8:19 AM and it will be high tide again at 8:22 PM. The water was a little choppy due to a light wind, and the wave height was about 1-3 feet.
